Svidzynsky Anatoliy Vadymovych
(01.03.1929, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Vinnytsia region) Physicist-theorist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1973), Professor (1974). Head of the Department of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, Volyn National University (since 1993). The first rector of Lesia Ukrainka Volyn State University (1993-1995). Research interests: exact solution of Bloch-Nordic model simulating electron Green’s function infrared asymptote in quantum electrodynamics; solution problem of the current conditions in contact superconductor-normal metal-superconductor; theory of current states in superconducting contacts in temperatures close to critical. Prof. Svidzynskyi is the author of about 100 publications in the field of theoretical physics; a series of satirical short stories. Member of T. Shevchenko Scientific Society (1998), winner of “Excellence in Education of Ukraine” (1998), St.Michael Order for services to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (1999), Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For special merits before the Ukrainian people” (2004). Honorary Doctor of Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of NAS of Ukraine (2007). Honoured master of Sciences and Engineering of Ukraine (2010).
