INFLUENCE OF THE IMAGE POTENTIAL ON THE ENERGY SPECTRUM OF ELECTRON IN COMPLEX SPHERICAL MICROCRYSTAL CdS/β-HgS/H2O

On the basis of the solution of Poisson's equation the explicit form of potential energy of the charged particle for the complex spherical nanosystem as a function of the distance to the common centre of the spherical surfaces $(r)$ was determined. The general analysis of the potentials was perfomed in three cases, when $r< a, a < r < b, b < r$ ($a,b$ being the radii of interfaces). The energy of the point charge which is in the internal layer of the system was established. Its dependence on the radius of the layer and on the choice of different trial wave functions was analysed.
