Results of experimental investigations of the luminescence of In$_x$Tl$_{1-x}$I solid solutions at high speed of carrier generation in the $4.2 < T < 77$ K temperature region are presented for the first time. On the basis of the analysis of the structure of the luminescence spectra, a dependence of the emission band halfwidth, integral intensity and maximum position of the power density of the laser excitation the conclusion is made concerning the existence and competition of possible channels of radioactive recombination. The features observed are explained in terms of the model of coexistence of dencified exiton gas, exciton–impurity complex and processes of founation and condensation of electron–hole pairs.
