The influence of different silver amount (7.5, 10, 12, and 15 wt.\%) added as Ag$_{2}$O to the initial Bi(Pb)SCCO precursor on the phase formation, microstructure and superconducting properties of the bulk samples was investigated. The degree of the intergranular diffusion of the silver and its role on the (2223) phase formation, alignment and connection of the (2223) grains were studied using X-ray diffraction, AC-susceptibility measurement and scanning electron microscopy, respectively.
