Professor Khrystyna Gnatenko awarded the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences Prize
On November 28, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences was held in Potsdam (Germany) on the occasion of Einstein Day. The President of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences, Christoph Markschies, the Minister of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg, Manja Schüle, and the Senator for Science, Health and Social Welfare, Ina Czyborra, delivered welcoming remarks during the event.
At the end of the event, an award ceremony was held for scientists, including Professor of the Ivan Vakarchuk Department of Theoretical Physics of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Khrystyna Gnatenko, who became the laureate of the prestigious Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences Prize, founded by the Peregrinus Foundation (Rudolf Meimberg). The prize is awarded every two years for outstanding scientific achievements of scientists from Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
