The acoustophosphorescence double resonance is investigated within the framework of a low-temperature mechanism of the spin–phonon interaction caused by the coupling between the translational and rotational motions of the molecules. Numerical values of the transitions time of the direct one-phonon processes in high magnetic fields and in zero field are obtained for a triplet photoexcited state in solid C$_{60}$. A detailed analysis of the dependence of the transitions rate on the direction of the propagation of an acoustic wave is carried out.
