ORDER AND FRACTALITY OF SEMI-CRYSTALLINE POLYMERS

With the example of polyethylene different types of relationships between the fractal dimensionality of structure and parameters characterizing the degree of structure order have been investigated for the case of semi-crystalline polymers. Attention was paged to the degree of crystallinity and the degree of local order in the amorphous phase. The latter one was calculated by means of the representations of the cluster model of the amorphous polymer structure. The obtained results have been used to consider the evolution of the structure under the solid-phase stretching of superhighmolecular polyethylene and of the composition filled on its basis.
