Complex experimental investigations results of the compound many–sublattice rare–earth antiferromagnets, as obtained by radiofrequency and ultrasound spectroscopy, are given. On their basis it has been established that the magnetic phase transitions dynamics is shaped by the interactions between all the magnetic subsystems involved, including the ordered ferrous, elastic, paramagnetic rare–earth, dipole (electromagnetic) subsystems. The necessity is shown for taking into account not only the precession, but the longitudinal oscillations of magnetization to describe the dynamics.
