The experimental results of a comprehensive investigation of physical-chemical and optical-refractometric parameters of glassy alloys in Hg-As-Se system along the section of $x$HeSe ($100-x)$As$_2$Se$_3$, $x=0 \div 20$ mol\% are presented. An increase in HgSe content results in a non-monotonic behaviour of the refractive coefficient $n$, its temperature derivative $Δ n/Δ T$, optical gap $E_{\rm g}^*$, density $ρ$, vitrification temperature $T_{\rm q}$, atomic polarization $P_{\rm at}$ and molecular refraction $R$. The most pronounced changes of the characteristics studies are found for the region of HgSe concentrations 1-2 mol\%. The existence of correlation between the regions of the alloys with a concrete structural-chemical composition and physical-chemical parameters is shown.
