In this work, the magnetic light absorption by small metallic particles of the ellipsoidal form in frequencies range both exceeding and smaller than the frequency of free run of an electron between the walls of a particle is studied. The diffuse reflection of an electron from an intrinsic surface of a particle was chosen as boundary conditions. For the case, when the skin-depth is great comparing to the typical sizes of a particle, the analytical expressions for the energy absorbed by a particle due to its form and orientation with respect to the direction of an incident radiation are obtained. For the first time the low-frequency case is analyzed in detail. For particles of the form of ellipsoids of revolution both the flattened out and extended it has been shown, at what initial sizes and polarizations of an incident wave the magnetic absorption becomes predominant in comparison with the electrical one.
