VISUALIZATION OF THE SPATIAL DISTRIBUTIONS OF THE WATER AND FATTY TISSUE PROTON DENSITY IN NMR IMAGING

The reconstruction of the water and fatty tissue lypoid protons density by a Magnetic Resonance Tomography method is considered with the allowance for hydrogen nuclear shielding by the electron envelope from the external magnetic field. The technique of spatial distributions separation of the magnetization generated by the protons precession processes of varied nature is proposed on the basis of the pulse sequences offered. A quantitative evaluations of the parameters of magnetic field gradients are conducted in accordance with the actual capabilities of medical tomographical systems.
