For further progress of the previously created online database of astronegatives with an ultimate aim of its digitization we have conducted a trial scaning of plates with commercial scaner Microtek Scan Maker XL9800 TMA and made its comparison with that of Microtek Scan Maker 4 as well as the measuring complex PARSEK of MAO NAS of Ukraine. Test measurements were made for Schmidt telescope $U$-color plates. Positional and photometric characteristics of objects were obtained by image processing with MIDAS/ROMAFOT software and with TYCHO-2 as reference catalogue. After the elimination of systematic differences the rms errors in positions are $\pm0.3”$ in $X$ and $\pm0.8”$ in $Y$ coordinates and in photometry they are $\pm$0.1$^m$-0.2$^m$ for the linear parts of color curves. The flat field simulation was made by the application of the method of a large-scale photometric correction of the digitized image.
