The results of estimation and comparison of the two-point angular correlation function of quasars for two largest quasar catalogues (SDSS DR3 and 2QZ) are presented. The obtained values for the slope of the correlation function and the correlation length agree within errors for two samples in the range of $2'<θ<50'$. Corresponding values for other intervals have some peculiarities caused by catalogues properties. The break in the correlation function over $0.5^{\circ}$ was found which agrees with the results of [A. D. Myers, {\em et al.}, Astrophys. J. {\bf 638}, 622 (2006)]. The use of a specific method for random-catalogue construction allowed to establish lack of close pairs in both catalogues.
