A brief review on coronal matter velocities in the picture plane is presented using the results of observations of LASCO SOHO. General features of the moving coronal formations and their velocities are systematized. On the distances of (2-6)$R_{☉}$ events have been revealed with coronal plasma motions both to the Sun and from its surface with velocities from dozens to hundreds of km${\cdot}{\rm s}^{-1}$. A possible physical nature of the events is discussed.
