A number of physical characteristics of jet objects were obtained from the radio interferometry data for three samples of galaxies and quasars. The estimate of Lorentz factor, the magnetic field strength, the characteristic age, the luminosity of radio sources were found among others. As we determined, jet velocities of quasars and powerful radio galaxies have sublight values, unlike weak radio galaxies. A relation of the characteristic age with the ratio of luminosities of jet and nucleous components of radio sources was derived.
