THE GAUSSIAN APPROXIMATION IN THE MINORITY GAME MODEL

The paper focuses on the outcomes of a study of the optimization process in the minority game model in the Gaussian approximation. The given approximation consists in the fact that the averaging over the discrete variables in the replica method a transition is made into an averaging over continuous variables with a normal (Gaussian) distribution. The calculations in the symmetric replicas approximation is being compared with other approaches available in the literature.
