OPTICAL ACTIVITY OF CHROMIUM-DOPED Ca-GALLOGERMANATE CRYSTALS

On the basis of transmission function of PSA (polarizer-specimen-analyzer) a system of the relation for characteristic azimuths of a polarizer were obtained when the research specimen were dichroic. The corresponding technique related to HAUP was approved for $\rm Ca_{3}Ga_{2}Ge_{4}O_{14}$: $\rm {Cr^{3+}}$ crystals. Some systematic errors were considered and the temperature dependence of the gyration tensor $g_{11}$ component was obtained.
