The structure and chemical order of Ge-As-Se glasses were studied along Ge\textit{${}_{x}$}As\textit{${}_{x}$}Se${}_{1-2}$\textit{${}_{x}$} cut-section by high-resolution X-ray photoelectron stectroscopy. It was shown that the processes of cation-cation bonds formation begin at \textit{x} $>$ 0.09 and enhance at \textit{x} $>$ 0.16. The phase separation of As and Ge was obsereved in the glasses with \textit{x} $>$ 0.20.
