Rules for Contributors

Manuscripts are to be prepared in LaTeX and the corresponding files, preferably archived, are to be submitted as e-mail attachments to the following address:

The archive should include: the manuscript text (.TEX), the figures, and the entire manuscript in PDF.
Submission of a paper to the Journal of Physical Studies will be taken to imply that it represents original work not previously published. The manuscript (up to 25 pages) using commands

should include, in the following order, title, authors' names, ORCID numbers (if available), affiliations, addresses, and e-mails, abstract, up to six key words, text of the paper, acknowledgements, reference list, figure and table captions, figures, Ukrainian summary (up to one page).

When submitting a manuscript, the authors should indicate one number of the thematic section to which it belongs, according to the following list:

  1. General
  2. Physics of Elementary Particles and Fields
  3. Nuclear Physics
  4. Atomic and Molecular Physics
  5. Electromagnetism, Optics, Acoustics, Heat Transfer, Classical Mechanics, and Fluid Dynamics
  6. Physics of Gases, Plasmas, and Electric Discharges
  7. Condensed Matter: Structural, Mechanical and Thermal Properties
  8. Condensed Matter: Electronic Structure, Electrical, Magnetic, and Optical Properties
  9. Interdisciplinary Physics and Related Areas of Science and Technology
  10. Geophysics, Astronomy, and Astrophysics
Processing charges. There are no submission, processing, and publication charges.

Language. Papers are published in Ukrainian (with an extended summary in English, at least 250 words) or in English (with an extended summary in Ukrainian, at least 250 words). The editorial board will provide translation of the summary from English into Ukrainian.

Figures are to be prepared in computer-readable form (in PDF, EPS, PS formats). If possible, the width of the figure should not exceed 7.5 cm.

References should be cited by a numbers in square brackets and listed in the order in which they are cited. Preparing the reference list please adhere to the following format:

We ask to provide DOIs in the specified format for each item where it is possible.
