BETHE'S METHOD IN THE THEORY OF ELECTRON LOCALIZED IN SPHERICAL QUANTUM DOTS EMBEDDED INTO MASSIVE MEDIUM

A general theory of exciton spectrum in spherical quantum dots embedded into the massive medium has been developed in the framework of Bethe's variational method which makes it possible to take into account not only discrete states but also states of the continuous spectrum.
