MEASURING OF OPTICAL ACTIVITY IN THE KDP GROUP CRYSTALS BY HIGH ACCURACY POLARIMETRIC METHODS

The measuring method of the optical activity by the presence of linear birefringence is considered. For the KDP group crystals ($\rm KH_2PO_4$, $\rm NH_4H_2PO_4$, $\rm CsH_2AsO_4$ and $\rm RbH_2PO_4$) the temperature dependence (from 295 K to melting temperatures) of $g_{11}$ components of gyration tensor are obtained.
