Within the modified proton ordering model for the KH$_2$PO$_4$ type ferroelectrics with hydrogen bonds with taking into account the piezoelectric coupling linear on strains $ε_i$ and $ε_6$ contributions into the energy of proton (deuteron) system but without taking into account the tunneling within the four-particle cluster approximation, the effect of hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure on phase transition and physical characteristics of the K(H$_{1-x}$D$_x)_2$PO$_4$ ferroelectrics are studied. At the proper set of the parameters a good quantitative description of the corresponding experimental data is obtained.
