The methods of solving the kinetic diffusion-advection equation which describes the acceleration of particles at shocks are reviewed. Stationary solutions of the one-dimentional equation for isotropic distribution function and parallel shocks are presented. An essential property of the results is their non-linear nature is the mutual influence of the accelerated particles and the flow.
