Helium liquefaction at the Center for Nanotechnology and Low Temperatures

17.11.2023 | 17:43

On November 14, 2023, helium was liquefied (12 liters) at the Center for Nanotechnology and Low Temperatures, which made it possible to conduct physical experiments up to the boiling point of liquid helium: 4.2 K. Employees of the Center for Nanotechnology and Low Temperatures participated in the liquefaction process, Roman Sholubko, Yuriy Usatenko, Pavlo Buryak, and employee of the National People’s Republic of China Zinovai Pereyma.

Workshop on Current Problems in Physics 2023

24.10.2023 | 21:41

The Workshop is a series of annual meetings organized alternatively by Ukrainian and Polish physicists to present the latest scientific results. Usually, the meetings are attended by representatives of other countries as well. An important feature of the conference is the possibility for young scientists to present their research results and interact with more experienced colleagues. The topics of the conference cover a broad range of subjects, from physics to astronomy in both theoretical and experimental fields.
